Extrais — Credits & Refunds Policy
1. Who we are
Extrais (the "App", "Platform", "Service") is operated by TABA Tasarım İnşaat Anonim Şirketi ("TABA", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in the Republic of Türkiye. You can reach us at info@vitamedas.com.
2. What a credit is
- A "credit" is a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to access specific digital features inside the App — principally unlocking contact with another user after acceptance. It is purely a digital entitlement.
- Credits have no cash value. They are not money, not a financial instrument, not e-money, and not stored value, and they cannot be redeemed for, exchanged into, or withdrawn as cash.
- Credits are not a payment for, or a guarantee of, any service. They unlock digital functionality only. The price and performance of any underlying job are agreed and settled directly between the Client and the Pro, off-platform and in person; TABA takes 0% of that amount and never holds it.
- Credits are tied to your account and are non-transferable — they cannot be sold, gifted, assigned, or moved to another user or account.
3. How credits are bought
- Credits are bought exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase, subject to those stores' terms. There is no web, card, or other off-store way to buy credits.
- The price, the number of credits, and any pack contents are shown to you before you confirm the purchase. The store, not TABA, processes your payment and any applicable tax.
- Your purchase is completed under the relevant store's billing rules and appears on your Apple or Google account. We may change credit pricing, packs, or features prospectively; changes never affect credits you have already bought.
4. How credits are spent
- Bidding is always free. A Client can post a request and receive quotes for free, and a Pro can submit a quote for free.
- A Pro spends one credit only after a Client has accepted that Pro, and only to unlock contact for that job. No credit is consumed before acceptance.
- Once a credit has been spent to unlock that digital functionality, the digital content has been supplied and the credit is consumed.
5. Refunds — general position
Because credits are digital content that is made available immediately, purchases are final and non-refundable, except where mandatory consumer law or the relevant app store's own policy provides otherwise. This section does not limit any of the statutory rights described in Sections 6 and 8.
6. Your EU/UK right of withdrawal (digital content)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the EEA, or the United Kingdom, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content (Consumer Rights Directive (EU) 2011/83, as amended by Directive (EU) 2019/2161; in the UK, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013).
- Immediate-performance carve-out. When you buy a credit and immediately use it (for example, to unlock contact), you expressly consent to the supply of that digital content beginning immediately and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been supplied — that is, once the credit is spent. This is the lawful digital-content exception to the right of withdrawal.
- Unspent credits. Credits you have purchased but not yet spent remain subject to your statutory 14-day withdrawal right, exercised through the relevant app store where store policy requires.
- Conformity. Under the Digital Content Directive (EU) 2019/770 and, in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the digital functionality we supply must conform to the contract and be as described. If it is defective or not as described, you are entitled to have it brought into conformity or to a proportionate price reduction or refund, free of charge, in addition to any store refund process.
7. How to request a refund
Because Apple and Google process all credit purchases and hold the billing relationship, refund requests under store policy must be made to the store, not to us:
- Apple App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: request a refund through the Google Play Store or Google Play's order-history and help pages.
For a statutory remedy that goes beyond store policy (for example a conformity claim or a withdrawal right for unspent credits), or if the store cannot help, contact us at info@vitamedas.com and we will try to resolve the matter and, where the law requires it, provide the remedy directly.
8. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or replaces any mandatory consumer-protection right you have under the law of your country of residence. Where any term of this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right that applies to you, that mandatory right prevails to the extent of the conflict.
9. Unused credits on account deletion
- You may delete your account at any time in Settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Credits are tied to your account and have no cash value. When your account is deleted, any unused credits are forfeited and are not refunded or paid out as cash, except where mandatory consumer law or store policy requires otherwise.
- Deleting your account does not by itself trigger a store refund. If you believe you are entitled to a refund for a recent or unused purchase, request it from Apple or Google (Section 7) before deleting your account, so the store can identify the transaction.
- This forfeiture rule does not affect any withdrawal or conformity right you may still be able to exercise under Section 6.
10. Relationship to the Terms
This policy supplements our Terms of Service, in particular the sections on how Extrais works, on credits, fees & in-app purchases, and the region-specific consumer terms. Where this policy and the Terms address the same subject, they are intended to be read consistently; the Terms govern the wider relationship between you and TABA.
